BRYAN DePROSPERO

Bryan DeProspero is a Philadelphia native and graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. In 2014, with a background studying plein-air painting, he was a recipient of the Charles X Carlson Landscape Painting Residency Prize. Upon returning to Philadelphia following the residency, Bryan participated and was featured in several shows spanning the Delaware Valley area, including Shift at Carspecken Scott Gallery, 2B: A Hermit's Dream of the Landscape at Bahdee Bahdu Gallery, and Artistic Pairings at Elfant Wissahickon Realty. In 2019, he curated Permutations: the Thread of Momentum at Orion Gallery- a space he established in the Old City district of Philadelphia. DeProspero is a co-founder, lead fabricator and exhibition technician of The Codex Project, a curatorial project which held its first exhibition in 2020 at Works on Paper Gallery.
