Ivana Carman (b. 1991, Florida) explores the relationship between psychology and perception through the medium of paint. She earned her BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and is currently an MFA Candidate at Columbia University in Visual Arts, Painting. Her work has been featured in Create! Magazine International Women’s Issue in 2019. Carman has exhibited her work nationally, most recently including The Poetics of Re-presentation at the Woodmere Art Museum, the National Juried Exhibition at First Street Gallery in New York City, and The Codex Project at Works on Paper Gallery in Philadelphia. Ivana Carman currently lives and works in New York City, NY.
