BIO

   Kemeys Goethe is a colorblind painter from Florida, who grew up netting fish for aquariums. He participated in graffiti, illustration school, and painting school, reading books along the way. He now lives in Lancaster, PA with a fiancé and a dog, building barns with the Amish.

 

SYNOPSIS

   This book is a collection of painted drawings from imagination, memories, and observations that I abandoned piecemeal from 2019-2021. It is an irresponsible foray into the banal, built with all the uncertainty of a mind. My imagery reflects a dream world wherein art history, history, painting techniques, graffiti style, Christian religion and eastern philosophy duke it out into non sequitur; a reflection of the Information Age alongside the humdrum.
